Buttercups are also known by their botanical name "Ranunculus". The peony, multi-petaled type flowering blooms are extremely vibrant in color and very showy. Good as cut flowers in bouquets or for smaller pots. Easy to grow and are deer resistant. Ranunculus bulbs are widely available at retail nurseries and mail-order catalogs in mixed colors. However, ranunculus in single colors are unique and caught our eye, as they make for striking color displays in the garden. We have identified this color to be special. Plant this perennial in a location with partial sun.
