Pink Muhly Grass is an outstanding easy to grow, drought tolerant, ornamental perennial with astonishing pink to purple inflorescences in late Spring. This plant grows in clumps and can be divided every three years to keep its upright habit. Pink Muhly needs to be cut back in late Winter to allow for new growth in the Spring. When planting this grass, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in Spring.
