This Liriope is a lush evergreen groundcover with showy， lavender flowers that spike in the shape of a Christmas tree (thus the name). Somewhat hyacinth-like， the tight clusters of light lilac blooms offer a decadent pop of color as they explode like fireworks from the emerald foliage whose blades are slim， 3/8 to 1/2 inch wide fingers reaching up from small clumps .
